Congratulations! You’ve received a gift card for a fully bespoke ex-libris — a unique creation, illustrated by hand just for you.

Here’s how to get started:

1. Get inspired

Before placing your order, we invite you to explore our Ex-Libris design catalogue — a selection of past creations that will help you imagine your own.

Think about what you'd love to see in your personal ex-libris:

• Your home, a family crest, a boat, a beloved object or place... anything is possible.
  Feel free to take screenshots of designs, details, or styles that resonate with you.

2. Gather your gift code

You’ll need your gift card code (a combination of letters and numbers), which was sent by email to the person who offered you this gift.

Keep it handy — you’ll be asked to enter it at checkout when placing your order.

3. Place your order

Go to the bespoke ex-libris order page. There, you’ll be able to:

• Upload your photos, sketches, and inspirations

• Fill out the creative brief

• Enter your gift card code at the payment step — no payment will be required

4. Illustration & design

Once your order is received, Lauren, our illustrator, will begin designing your ex-libris based on your brief.
You’ll receive the first illustration within 7 working days by email.

You’ll then be able to approve the design or request one round of revisions — we'll adjust the artwork to ensure it's just right.

5. Engraving & shipping

After you approve the final design, we’ll engrave your ex-libris in our Parisian workshop.
Engraving takes 3 to 4 working days, then your piece will be carefully packaged and shipped to your address.
